CA locked up. A couple of months ago I drove my CA to near the shop to remove the belly mower, which I did. Then drove the tractor out of the way, in order to move the mower. The next time I wanted to use the tractor it was locked up, could not turn the engine over. Pulled in to the shop, removed the valve cover, rocker arms, and rods.
When you let off the starter, the engine begins to coast to a stop. When the decreasing engine rpms match the throttle setting, it fires and runs. Next time you are cranking the warm engine. Move your throttle ahead while you are cranking.
