Crystal in general is a bit of a commitment for mains. Since it costs crystal shards to make the armour / weapon if you need to sell you will lose out on that creation cost. It can add up to quite a few mil. This goes quite literally 20x for corrupting the bowfa.

You lose 2.5% dmg and 5% accuracy on top of -9 ranged attack bonus. I ran faveguard/bofa until my first purple. Now I got the helm :D. It’s pretty normal to run it without the helm at TOA.
