I hope this post provides some useful information on the 12" piston LMT, looks like there isn't much out there. The suppressed position on LMT piston barrels was designed for use with "tradional" higher back pressure supressors. The people in the video may have decided that the normal gas setting worked better with that particular can.

Also the specwar is really well gassed vs the MRPs which can be alittle over gassed q. I'm running e-bolts in both, but had issues finding the FA e-carrier until LMT's BF sale. Rifles are both stock other than Geissele Airborne CHs on both and a Geissele SD-C trigger on the Shovelnose. The Specwar has a US Axle trigger. TL;DR - it really smooths out the recoil and works great with the Geissele H1 suppressed and unsuppressed. Spec war it, get a 12" piston for the shovelnose. No idea how nice the sionics is, but I got my 16" midlength di barrel chopped to 12.5 and it's fantastic. I've only tried it with my rugged Alaskan so far but I was extremely impressed with the performance, lack of gas to face and the nice tone. Shot smooth as butter.

KAC and Noveske are both well built rifles but I question the price tag. My LMT is onlt a few weeks old but I ran 400 rounds of 147 through it with iron sights from 7 yards to 200 yards during a basic carbine class. I didn't see one as being better than the other in the accuracy department. The gen1 piston barrels cycled cheap, low pressure stuff better than the gen2 in my experience. The gen2 struggles to be gassed enough to run reliably suppressed with a Rugged Razor 7.62. It is a single shot unsuppressed.
