Technically only people who have never taken an OTF class qualify for founder rates. However, some studios will look past that in order to open with as many members as possible. I started going in the last week of August when it was open only to Founders, and upgraded to unlimited by September 2nd (founders rates were good until like the 15th). The woman I spoke to on 9/2 told me I couldn't upgrade mid-month, I had to wait until 10/1, but I would have the founders rate at that time.
