Hello, I have had the same issue. I've got the solution, so I've picked up the first exotic mission with Arthur back in chapter 4. After that I picked up all plants and Orchids with John (and got 15 Lady Slipper Orchids) for the exotic mission buut I found out it is not counted towards the challenge until you completing the first exotic mission.Absolutely sick spot.
