Anyways as of this morning I attempted to open Stellaris multiple times. Game opens fine, then it loads to 100% and stops responding for an indefinite length of time, and so the only option is to close it. The solution was fairly simpel, just navigate to where Stellaris is installed (SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Stellaris) and start the game by running stellaris.exe.
