I think the best main-hand weapon for a sorcerer is a classic Long Sword. Only takes 3 points in STR to wield, and raw-infused with Crystal Magic Weapon or Crystal-infused both put out great damage. The Moonlight Greatsword and the Greatsword of Judgement are also options that become available.
