My Founder's Edition 4090 seems to hit a limit above +1000 which works out to 1450-1475 mhz tops in Port Royal. I can also pass with +1200 but don't feel it's stable in most games. +1300 or +1400 results in almost instant artifacts. In your answer please include the card vendor (Nvidia FE, Asus, MSI, etc.). The RTX 3090 is not the RTX 4090. 2*8-pin RTX 3090 boards do not route power the same way and even if they did exceeding PCI-E spec on the 8-pin connectors is neither unstable, unsafe, or underhanded.
