Finally found some pics online, which explained why there was no branding on the body of the trap door (Revtech places it on the separate end cap only). And there's is not recessed into the trap door in the manner that so many others are (e.g., Baker, Jims, SE).

The clutch arm is shorter and angled in a way that the only way the clutch cable would work is if it were mounted on the rt side (carb side).
