The plan is to a sell a CC on Monday for the same day expiration, sell a CC on Tuesday for Wednesday expiration and sell a CC on Thursday for Friday expiration.Let’s say you wish to sell a 3350 put on it expiring whenever. So you need to put up the margin requirement for 3350 x 100 = 335,000. At my broker (etrade), margin requirement for ‘naked’ options on SPX is 20%.
