The course takes a deep dive into five distinct areas of biochemistry related to a disease or group of diseases primarily through group learning. Key biochemical principles are reviewed and extended. Additionally students will read and discuss a primary literature article with each area. It features a strong life science foundation, research methods and experiences, and a strong core of neuroscience courses that span cellular and molecular to behavioral and cognitive content. These include many courses in at multiple levels of neuroscience that are unique to UVM and offered by multiple departments in three different colleges. The revised Schedule of Courses includes notations on course delivery modalities. There are five different designations that are very important for students to understand, whether they are choosing the at-home or the on-campus option for Fall 2020. The instructional modalities for Fall 2020 courses are identified by the following attributes:Registration.
