D means the 70's decade, 3 means 1973. In our lists, we abbreviate this number as D3TF-CC because all carbs have a '9510' number. As for reading date codes on Holley carbs, there are 3 digit dates and 4 digit dates. The 3 digit dates lasted until about 1973. The first digit is the year. 6 = 1966, 0 = 1970. The second digit is the month. 2 = February, 9 = September, 0 (for 10) = October.
