I wanted to share that I have been off of Mirt for 19 days. I stepped off at 0.2mgs. I dry cut using a scale, an excellent pill cutter and metal nail file to shave down my pills.I weaned off from 600 mg, dropping 200 each month. The jump from 200 mg to 0 mg was the worst decision ever. For the past 4 weeks, the following things have been happening to me: -Fatigue not affected by amount of sleep -Depression and suicidal thoughts -Headaches -Dizziness -Loss of focus (can't do my homework) -Irritability and extreme rage ...Lamictal influences two amino acids, aspartate, and glutamate. I finished my taper almost 2 months ago. I still don't feel amazing, but I feel way better than I did while tapering, and way better than I did on the Lamictal. My vision/light sensitivity is gone, and my skin isn't dry and rashy around my nose anymore. Focus is a bit off to be honest, but memory feels a lot better.
