Not a great DLC but definitely worth it on sale. I've tried a few of the mods and they definitely improve the experience but I don't find them necessary to enjoy the game. Old Mechwarrior games were mech simulators, that is not this game. Mechwarrior 5 is a mech arcade style game with (some) added simulation elements.
