So the way its supposed to work is that the game starts on random frame everytime you start or restart the game. Emerald always starts at the first frame. If you have an early shiny frame you can use that to soft reset for things like legendaries, starters, lr gifts, however they will essentially be "clones" of eachother.The only thing that's good about them, is that there is only a 1/8291 chance that you will encounter this type of pokemon.
