FWIW, the name Diamond Arms Company belonged to Shapleigh hardware of St. Louis- and it was a "store brand"- sort of like JC Higgins for Sears. Guns were furnished by Savage, Iver Johnson, H&R- AND- some were directly imported from Belgium.
