While the two are similar in design, specifications, and internal components, the output of the Tillotson 212 is about 40% higher than its counterpart with 10-20% more torque at 2500rpm. The stock carburetors on a predator 212 or Honda GX160 or any other smaller engines are designed for the stock engine which has a governor to limit the rpm to around 3600. If you remove the governor or make other adjustments to increase rpm then you will need to get a Mikuni or a Mikuni clone carburetor to get more power out of the engine. Has a much better combo of parts, better flywheel, head, cam, rod, carb, air box, muffler, the block is reinforced. Comes ouuta the box running 5300 rpm with the governor installed.
