Carts just don't feel right, they don't hit nearly as hard as anything else is able to and I personally think it's in part due to the temperature that the wax is being burnt at. To me it doesn't seem hot enough because I've taken distillate out of carts and dabbed it straight up to much better results.
I definitely wouldn't recommend going off all your prescriptions, if they're helping you, just for a chance to get high. I haven't heard of a prescription that interferes with weed, so I don't know. You may have a naturally high tolerance, but I'm assuming you've experimented with smoking or eating a lot at one time since.
