@4u You are correct, you do not need an opacity map when the transparency mode is 'Additive'. You just need to have a black background. Just to be clear: particle systems made in Studio will not work in Classic Client. We are only trying to support those v1 particle products that were created in Classic Client in the new rendering engine (as much as possible).
