Have a Aquapure 1400. Installed a new Salt Cell with 3 button sensor less than a year ago. Recently got codes 180 and 172. Service Unit. Cleaned sensor with scotch bright (it was not very dirty). Codes went out for a couple minutes and came back on. Have flow. Chlorine levels are good. 3.4ppm, but system does not appear to be working correctly.

Since you have a fairly new cell and have already cleaned it, I would check or replace the cell cord and verify the actual salt level with a k-1766 test kit or a good conductivity meter.
