Hello guru’s, my LMM duramax just recently started setting all 8 glow plug codes (P0671-678). The glow plug light comes on for a few seconds when the engine is cold and doesn’t come on when the engine is hot so it acts like they are working as far as the dash indicator. If I clear the codes they don’t come back until the next cold start.If you look at the heads, or some common reference on the heads, you'll see that one side is farther forward than the other side. The head that is farther forward (towards the front of the vehicle) is the odd side and are numbered 1,3,5,7 from front to back. To steal and modify rader's nice diagram . . .
