The guardian LBG is pretty good and easy to make good for rapid fire normal 2, rapid fire pierce 1, rapid fire spread 2. Anyty else will take you much longer to farm materials for. I don't usually run elemental LBG, it's so much effort I don't think it's worth the farming.

I mained Pierce LBG before, and its hunt can drag long enough. After hunting it with the new build, he was captured in sub 9 mins, and I wasn't even trying. I think this build online is much more powerful, since you can stun (most) monsters easily and let your teammates go nuts on it. Radial menu is essential for this build. Kadachi or Safi pierce HBG can fire away at a monster doing consistent damage while being very safe due to distance. As your teammates will be the ones tenderising, you can just safely fire away from the backline and contribute.

it looks like OP is using crit eye in leiu of WEX. its kind of difficult to say for sure if thats a good idea, bc theres several factors to consider.
