I'm a .35 Rem fan! As was already mentioned, here in New England it's quite a popular lever chambering, second only to the 30-30. I have four different 35's, one is an older beautiful Remington 141 Pump, also two different 336's, one is the standard 336cs (1953) while the other is the more valuable Marlin 336D Limited with the "JM" Stamp.
