Reasons to hate jagex.
There are definitely reasons not to use it. For instance, once added to a Jagex account, a character cannot be removed. Also the max character limit is 20. When they released Jagex accounts I went around and added every single character I ever created to it, and now have 14/20 slots utilized.
A Niche case, but for all the discourse I see on the jagex launcher, and jagex accounts, I think this is one valid reason why people could be hesitant to upgrade as well. People who play and still consistently hate on Jagex probably still want the game to live for as long as possible because clearly the game is something they're so passionate about. Yet if someone is going to hate over rumours it just becomes a negative for every party.

Tldr: Jagex made it clear they do not give a fuck about the current playerbase and will keep pushing MTX down our throats. If you are not upset by the Fresh new worlds BS, trust me, we are on a slippery slope and sooner or later you will be upset with Jagex and feel like your accomplishments in RS3 mainscape no longer have any meaning.
