Can anyone offer an OANDA review? After looking around at a few brokers, I like OANDA. My only issue is that they don't seem to have an OCO order option (or ACH for deposits) but I guess I can deal with that. I use Oanda because they are, as far as I can tell, the only viable option left for trading forex in the US with a regulated broker. Interactive Brokers left the retail business, FXCM got banned and TDAmeritrade was the only other broker, but thinkorswim has a massive memory leak in it making it unusable on my computer.

This is absolute normal behavior during 5pm and 6pm EST. Spreads widen and cause stops to be hit or slipped if they were too tight. Stop blaming Oanda, you were meant to do your research and figure out what spread hours are. Oanda offers you a chart of historical spreads were you can view what the spread is going to be at any time of day.The disadvantage is that contract sizes are larger than retail fx. Most contracts are $100k and "mini" contracts are not 1/10 of a full like fx. They vary from only 1/2 to 1/4, so you need a much larger account size. It is a speculation on the price of a currency in the future.
