As someone who began college with a crippling fear of overloading myself with classes, I took 18 hours last semester and 18 hours this semester so I can graduate ASAP. Having a calendar you can frequently check is good, especially because the blackboard app is trash and you’ll frequently ask yourself when something is due.

It’s all relative. UTSA is a good value. Relatively low cost, but you’re still getting a good education. It’s got a lot of great teachers and a lot of different areas of study to choose from. It’s on the nice side of a growing town where jobs are plentiful. The first thing you need to look at is what you want right now. Trinity has a better name overall but UTSA gets better rep for their computer science program. While I don’t know about either schools CS programs, Trinity definitely has a solid reputation in Texas, but the cost is incredible, so much so that going there without a generous scholarship is insane.
