Tradestation has much lower margins ($292 for MES) and rates. Would need to look into how the platform is though. Yea i looked at trade station before and decided on tradovate. I think they will get the reliability sorted out and honestly if it is only during crazy volatility times, i can avoid that.

Ninja has a fantastic DOM for trading. The charting packages are both free to try. I've tried amp and ninjatrader trials, but I think amp and Sierra combo is the best. Ninjatrader takes a while to start up and load charts, versus Sierra which takes a few seconds only. Customization in sierra is also amazing.

Rithmic data can be a little less reliable though. I like to see the orders trading stocks, but I stopped looking at them for futures long ago. They used to aggregate their data (unusable in scalping), and they still have API limits for third party platforms, and their fees and margins are shit.I would recommend Stage 5. I switched over from Tradestation and Tradovate. I pay $23/month all-in for data (CME Futures). That is for CQG (Same data feed that Tradovate uses). You can get Rithmic for a little more if you think you need it. Their commissions & margins are also very fair.
