Installed VCM tuner II on my 2016 with 45k miles and still get about the same mpg. Install was a snap, tapped the fuse box next to the battery instead of using the battery terminal mentioned in the instructions. Engine definitely responds better. VCM Tuner 2 Electrical Issues. I purchased a VCM Tuner 2 late January this year and installed it soon after on my 2019 EXL. Just last week my van was not starting like it used to (hard start or not even recognizing the key fob to unlock doors) and eventually wouldn't turn on at all at one point. I took off the VCM and it's worked fine ever since. Its is bad. Piston rings get stuck or loose, oil leaks by (why you were low on oil), oil is burned and fouls the spark plugs (causing misfires and eventually engine will run very rough with lots of lights), burnt oil fouls the catalysts (which lowers their performance which will make you fail emissions testing if required), VCM operation causes wear on the very expensive ACM engine mounts.
