I loved my Mtn gun and didn't really want to sell it but wanted something else more. The spring for the CS45 is painted green (the CS9 is red) and can be bought from S&W for about $3.26/ea (plus shipping, etc).

Having seen him shoot consistant 2.5 inch groups at 50 yards, it had me wondering. From what I have been reading on these and other forums, the 25-2 was a great gun and very accurate too, but I haven't seen much mentioned about the ammo used.

I really like the extra capacity and today I finally pulled the trigger. It's dimensionally almost identical to my Shield, but the short mag holds 10 rounds instead of 7, and the longer mag holds 13 instead of 8.

It appears to have been refinished but not by S&W at some point. A good cleaning and treatment for any rusting and it should make a good shooter. Definitely a great concealed carry pistol that offers a double stack magazine capacity; 10 rnd and 12 rnd. People don’t like the trigger but I think I like it.
