I found a 1897 take down Winchester for a little over $500. It was an original long barrel full choke gun that was already cut down to a riot gun length. The main part I was missing was / is the bayonet mount heat shield that clamps to the barrel. The main source of the reproductions was a man in Georgia that died a few years back.

As old as the park is, it wouldn't have been beneficial to fake a trench shotgun as you could buy one cheaper than an 870 at the time through the old DCM.
