Bodyslide works fine on Vortex. Install it like a normal mod. It will show up down in the dashboard at the bottom. You might have to tweak the directory paths. It should run out of your game directory; not the mod folder. For your NMM problem, you might want to take a look at this or the dozen or so threads about it:

What you're able to edit in BodySlide is the 0% and the 100% shapes. You can't set the sliders for something in-between. Inside the game you can choose what weight your character will be at. 50% will have the slider values right in the middle of what 0% and 100% would be.
