Question about disabling certain permanent outdoor lights. So I just got the Govee outdoor permanent light 100ft. I used all the lights and the extension to be able to cover my 2 roofs. I had to use some lights to get to one spot to another but I don’t want them to emit light because it would look stupid so I want it to skip certain lights.

Personally I ended up using some Aluminum J channel It's cheap and easy to cut to length, using pan head framing screws (normally used for steel stud) to secure them to the soffits. Looks quite good and holds the weight of the wire in between the lights. You can get this stuff at Home Depot for about $10CDN/10ft length. Hope this helps someone. 1.
