May 30, 2011 · On this 2015 Frieghtliner, you can do that but you cant exceed 900 rpms. If you do, after about 30 seconds or so (IIRC), the "check engine" light will come on & start flashing etc, etc. I am not sure it it will shut down etc, cause I got out of the high idle when I did that & the "check engine" light started blinking.
