Aug 20, 2023. #1. Tried to run Skyrim today and got a bunch of prompts asking permission to run "HP Omen System Optimizer". I do not have an HP, and have certainly never deliberately downloaded an HP Omen System Optimizer. Does anyone know if this is this something Steam foisted on me, or outright malware?I'm not a pro at this. Got my OMEN 15 (2020) Ryzen 4800h about a month ago. But here's what I've learned: tl;dr: Use the performance settings in the OMEN Gaming Hub, and use GeForce Experience to select an appropriate driver and to optimize GPU settings for various games.
