All of the Acrtic Cat 650 and 700 V-Twin engines were Kawasaki motors. The 700 DOHC single is a Suzuki motor. All of the H1 and H2 SOHC engines are Arctic Cat's own (550, 650, 700, 951 V-Twin). Jan 26, 2016 · Popping, backfiring Suzuki Quadrunner LT-4WD. I'm working on a 1989 LT-4WD for a buddy. He has had issues with this thing flooding. Went thru the carburetor, correctly set the float, rebuilt the carb with a full kit. Starts and runs fine at idle, runs way too rich when throttle opened.
