I have a 2005 John Deere 997 Z-TRAK with 245 hours that the PTO randomly will disengage or sometimes as soon as I release the parking brake the engine will stall or if I move the mower with the hand controls with the PTO OFF it will stall. It’ll start right up and work fine for a while, sometimes a week, month, minute,hour, or 10 seconds.Jun 15, 2004 · The JD790 has the valves mounted on the rockshaft case under the seat.
