Kotor twist.
For me Kotor 1 is easily the superior game. It had the classic Star Wars feel (while still telling a new story in a completely different era), the characters were awesome and the twist at the end is one of the best in video game history. Its among my favourite RPG's of all time. I think Kotor 2 is a bit overrated.

It still is tons of fun to play, because theres much more than just the plot twist, the reason I think it's good is because it has a lot of minor things that make it come alive instead of relying on one plot twist. As someone who played KOTOR 2 first, I would say yes, it is still worth playing.I always sit and think how obvious the twist is now that I know. content restored kotor 2 is the peak for me, much prefer it to kotor 1 and i like kotor 1 a lot. and yeah the twist is fine, like most twist people twig things before they happen all the time, a solid twist in a plot doesn't diminish it if it's properly set up. it might hurt your first time, but there's a reason people replay it.
Kotor 2 tried to be clever like Kotor 1 and tell you the plot twist (several times even) early without you knowing it so that it was still a shock when it was actually revealed, but they did so really badly and you can figure out the plot twist way before its revealed. Reply
KotOR has a really special place in my heart, but the story is very simple and predictable. That's perfectly okay, though.
