I don't recall him saying that she didn't need surgery. Didn't her doctor tell her that she could either choose to have the surgery in August, or wait until November, I believe it was.
YES!!! This kinda sorta happened to my son. At age 7 he had a tonsillectomy. At age 10 his symptoms returned (even worse than before) and he had another "tonsillectomy" although it was mostly adenoid tissue that was removed, although I swear I remember the ENT surgeon also saying "some tissue...A couple of months has been privately discussed. And this is all we know. If she has deceased since then, Jenny too has probably less than 3 months left.

IMO, if they had been smarter and stopped the "treatments" as soon as they found out that Jenny only had 6-9 months left, her quality of life would've been a lot better. They should really have focused on end of life palliative care instead of putting her through that useless stuff.Home high-flow concentrators go up to 10L of oxygen per minute. Jenny doesn't realise how lucky she is to be in the US and under such great care at COH, most of us are not so lucky. I'm glad she got approved for the clinical trial even if it buys her more comfortable time with the family. I think they are all (Kyle, Ash and Jenny) being very realistic about what the trial meds can or cannot do at this point.
