Buy wires, a red wrench and actuators. Place actuators at least 5 blocks wide and deep, both sides. Wire them all up, and activate them. The blocks will toggle, and the mobs will fall. The mobs from it seem to be somewhat ghost-like and float about 3 blocks above the ground after hitting them. Before, with just a plain, flat surface, they looked and acted like "normal" mobs.
